CHAMELEON Color Changing

The Freesbee Chameleon collection combines photochromic lenses that adapt to changing light with tinted cellulosic acetate frames to offer two different looks in one pair of glasses. Polarized lenses reduce glare from surfaces like glass, water, and asphalt; full UV400 protection blocks harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun; and a lightweight construction and well-balanced fit ensure all-day comfort.

  • Dual color conversion:

The tinted frame and tinted photochromic lenses darken together in the sun and lighten together indoors.

  • UV protection:

Provides safe and healthy vision with UV 400 ultraviolet protection.

  • Transition speed:

It happens within seconds, depending on the light conditions.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

In photochromic (light adaptable) lenses and frames, when UV light is absorbed, the molecular structure changes, the lens and frame darken and change color.

When UV light fades, the molecules return to their original state, rapidly brightening the lenses and frame. This process is reversible.

Activates in sunlight (including UV); most indoor artificial light does not activate.

Performance & Transition Speed

Activation rate may vary depending on UV level, ambient temperature and light intensity.
Darkening may be more pronounced in cold weather; maximum darkening may be limited in very hot conditions (due to the nature of the photochromic material)

In-Vehicle Use

Many vehicle windshields filter out a significant portion of UV, so photochromic activation inside the vehicle may appear limited or milder.

UV Protection and Visual Comfort

Photochromic lenses help block UV effectively and provide comfort in bright light. All Lenses provide full UV400 protection.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Gently wipe with a microfiber cloth. If necessary, use a pH-neutral lens cleaner. Freesbee special cleaning spray is recommended.
Avoid caustic chemicals (acetone, solvents), cologne, extreme temperatures and water vapor.
Store your glasses in their case when not in use; do not leave them face down on a hard surface.
